Monitoring
Belgrade NGO Center’s monitoring of civil sector assumes observation of activities of Serbian civil sector organisations. Monitoring also includes giving feedback on the progress achieved by these organisations in implementation of their projects.

Tasks
• Analysis of capacities, perspectives and aspirations of NGOs as a final product of other activities related to civil sector monitoring;
• Establishing contacts with civil sector organisations;
• Making a comprehensive research on the current status and developments within civil sector;
•Informing and commenting on NGO and civil sector related events through publications, press releases and public announcements.

Consulting
Belgrade NGO Center exercises its consulting services through providing information and recommendations to the civil sector organisations. These activities encompass the expert or professional advices, as well as guidelines on strategic decision-making for the civil sector organisations.

Tasks
• Delivering consulting services to civil sector organisations;
• Providing information on EU-funded potentials and EU cooperation principles;
• Informing civil sector organisations about EU opportunities within their specific area of interest;
• Updating German and Serbian civil society organisations on possibilities for bilateral cooperation;
• Advising state and local institutions on the adjustment of the existing laws to the EU legal standards and development of new legislation on NGOs;
• Organisation of conferences on NGO-related topics;
• Organisation of lectures and other educational activities for civil sector representatives.

Trainings and seminars on variety of topics concerning management activities of non-governmental and non-profit organisations

Assistance
Belgrade NGO Center assists the civil sector organisations through provision of guidance and advisory assistance on various issues. These activities also include contributing to completion of planned activities of the assisted organisations.

Tasks
• Assisting civil sector organisations in building and reorganization of their capacities;
• Providing know-how as a support to organisations in changing their Statutes and defining their activities;
• Implementing organizational and logistic tasks for other civil sector organisations in realization of their projects.
